Considering this, it necessary try improve it. So, there a need for research that examines addition combines media with paddy soil. This took place Pecoro Village, Jember Regency from May 2022 July 2022. The method was form Completely Randomized Design first treatment, namely baglog waste compost cow manure (K1); goat (K2); chicken (K3). While second treatment planting consisting of: sand 100% (M0); 75% + 25% (M1); 50% (M2); (M3). observed variables included plant height, total fruit weight, unit length diameter which were tested by means variance Duncan's Multiple Range test. results showed compost, media, their interactions had significant effect on variables. recommendations given based analysis cultivation are add such as mixed cow, ratio medium soil. <w:LsdException Locked="f

Effect of Optimal Daily Fertigation on Migration of Water and Salt in Soil, Root Growth and Fruit Yield of Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) in Solar-Greenhouse

Inappropriate and excessive irrigation and fertilization have led to the predominant decline of crop yields, and water and fertilizer use efficiency in intensive vegetable production systems in China. For many vegetables, fertigation can be applied daily according to the actual water and nutrient requirement of crops. A greenhouse study was therefore conducted to investigate the effect of daily...

Determination of The Critical Period of Greenhouse-Cucumber (Cucumis Sativus L.) Weeds in Soil Greenhouse

In order to determine the critical period for weed control of greenhouse cucumber, an experiment was conducted in 2012 in a soil greenhouse located 25 km from Mashhad, as a randomized complete blocks design with three replications. The experiment consisted of two treatment series of weed interference. The first series consisted of weed-interference periods (including 14, 28, 42, 56, 70 and 84 d...

Bacterial diversity in cucumber (Cucumis sativus) rhizosphere in response tosalinity, soil pH, and boron

Soil salinity is a major factor relating microbial communities to environmental stress in the microbial selection process as stress can reduce bacterial diversity. In the San Joaquin Valley (SJV) of California, the problem of increasing salinity and consequently, decreasing crop productivity, due to reuse of saline drainage water are major concerns. An experiment was conducted in a closed, reci...
